This Is Jacqui's Life's Work

For nearly 30 years, meditation has been Jacqui Lewis's constant foundation. She has
carried it around the world, teaching across four continents and building an enormously successful career on it.

Integrated Meditation Teacher Training is everything she has learned, distilled: how to
teach, how to lead, and how to build a thriving teaching practice. It is meditation teacher training and leadership training in one.

You will not be left to figure it out alone. Jacqui guides you personally through every stage, and you graduate a ready teacher.

Meditation works. Teacher training hasn't kept up.

The research is clear and the tradition is ancient. What has been missing is a teacher training to match.

Many traditional trainings ask for years of prerequisite courses before you go anywhere near the teaching itself.
Much of that time is philosophy. The structures are often hierarchical. The lineage honoured runs through men alone.
And very little attention goes to the person sitting in front of you: their history, their nervous system, their patterns.

The tradition deserves better. So do your students.

Integrated Meditation keeps what is timeless in the Vedic tradition and leaves behind what no longer serves.
You will be trained as a teacher, not a follower.

What Makes This Training Different?

Embodiment over dogma

You learn the technique in your body first, through twice-daily practice and regular rounding, then learn to pass it on

Psychology and somatics, built in

Window of Tolerance, the Drama Triangle, the Enneagram, personality structures, and how to create psychological safety for your students and yourself.

Leadership as a teacher

Values, boundaries, voice, and the presence
it takes to hold a room.

A Modern Ceremony

Give mantras exactly as the Vedic tradition passes
them on, within an opening ceremony chosen for
its power and relevance today.

You actually learn to teach

Every module you will deliver is taught, practised
and assessed. Before graduating, you teach the
full course to fellow trainees.

Ethics and business

Give mantras exactly as the Vedic tradition passes
them on, within an opening ceremony chosen for its
power and relevance today.

Who This Training Is For?

This training is not open to everyone. Entry is by application and interview, because the people in this room will one day hold rooms of their own.

It is for committed meditators ready to teach: therapists, coaches, yoga teachers, health practitioners, leaders, and anyone whose practice has changed their life and who now feels called to share it.

The investment is part of the process. It is a commitment to yourself, and to every student
you will go on to serve.

Prerequisites: At least two years of steady
meditation practice, including at least one
year of daily Integrated, Vedic or Transcendental Meditation practice before June 2027

When you graduate, you will be able to

1. Enrol students with clarity and integrity

2. Conduct the mantra ceremony and give mantras to new students

3. Teach the complete Integrated Meditation course in group and private formats

4. Teach the full range of students: teenagers, adults, groups and senior executives

5. Support students' psychology and nervous systems as their practice deepens

6. Hold clear boundaries and safety protocols

7. Lead with presence at an executive level

8. Teach in your own voice, and build a successful teaching business around it

Meet Your Teacher

JACQUI LEWIS

Jacqui Lewis is the founder and principal teacher of The Broad Place, the meditation and wellbeing education organisation she established in 2012. She is a meditation teacher, therapist (registered with SIAF Italia), facilitator, executive leadership coach and the author of four books.

Her work sits where ancient practice meets modern science. Vedic meditation, nondual philosophy, neuroscience, somatics and psychology come together in one coherent, embodied approach: Integrated Meditation.

Jacqui has meditated daily for 28 years and has taught meditation for 14. She has taught students across Australia, Asia, Europe and the United States, and has hosted 33 retreats around the world. Her formal training spans more than 2,500 hours across Vedic knowledge, psychotherapy and trauma-informed somatic work.

This training is a personal transformation program and a leadership training in one. You graduate as a qualified Integrated Meditation Teacher, with an entire structure behind you so you can begin teaching right away.

"I began meditating at 18, first with a yoga teacher, then through the Buddhist, Zen and Daoist traditions. Each one taught me something. But my practice truly changed when I learned Vedic Meditation 18 years ago.

I could feel my nervous system shift. My mindset softened, and old patterns began to loosen. For the first time, much of the anxiety I had carried for years simply dissolved.

I went on to complete a 14-month teacher training. I began teaching straight away and repaid my investment within four months. It was the beginning of a life I could never have imagined: teaching around the world, and becoming an incredibly sought-after teacher.

I led three 14-month teacher trainings. Then I paused. I wanted to go deeper. I spent years refining my own way of teaching, and training in psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, somatics and the Enneagram.

In that time I also stepped away from the formal Vedic Meditation community. The dogma, the patriarchy and the harm to students had become impossible to ignore.

Now, after a long pause, I am training teachers again, in my own way. My commitment is simple. Every teacher graduates not only prepared, but confident and relaxed in front of a room, and ready to build a thriving business doing work they love." - Jacqui Lewis
